Features Overview

The Find Art Foundation is dedicated to the preservation and advancement of traditional 35mm motion picture filmmaking at a time when the art form is rapidly disappearing from modern cinema. Founded by filmmaker Mark L. Christensen, the Foundation supports the development of original motion pictures produced on photochemical film, preserving the visual richness, discipline, and historical legacy of analog filmmaking for future generations.

Currently in development are two major 35mm feature film projects: Son of an Auschwitz Guard, a powerful historical drama exploring the human consequences of one of history's darkest periods, and Fuck You Heroes, a raw and uncompromising coming-of-age story set against the backdrop of rebellion, identity, and social conflict. Both projects are committed to being photographed on 35mm film, honoring a cinematic tradition that has defined motion picture storytelling for more than a century.

Mark L. Christensen's previous film work includes the acclaimed 16mm feature Boxhead Revolution, recognized for its innovative independent spirit and cult following, and North by el Norte (formerly American Flyer), which received national distribution and showcased Christensen's commitment to character-driven storytelling and cinematic craftsmanship.

As digital production increasingly dominates the industry, only a small group of filmmakers continue to champion the use of analog film. Alongside directors such as Quentin Tarantino, Mark L. Christensen remains committed to preserving the unique aesthetic, archival longevity, and artistic discipline of motion picture film. Through these productions, the Find Art Foundation seeks not only to tell meaningful stories, but to help ensure that the craft of 35mm filmmaking remains a living and evolving art form for future generations of filmmakers and audiences alike.
